What does "No PVC, no BPA" mean?

What does
☢️Polyvinyl chloride aka ‘Plastic Poison’ aka ‘PVC’ is considered the most toxic plastic for our health and environment.

☢️BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s.

☢️Phthalates are a family of man-made chemical compounds that are colorless, odorless, oily liquids that do not evaporate easily and do not chemically bond to the material they are added to.

❗These 3 poisons are sometimes used to produce kid’s toys and teethers!
They are health concerns because of possible effects on the brain, behavior, and prostate gland of fetuses, infants, and children. And they are 💯not eco-friendly!

❓What can we do to give your kids a natural start?
- Research everything we buy.
- Look for products that are labeled as PVC-free and BPA-free.
- As consumers, we can also demand PVC and BPA-free products.
- PVC is marked with the recycling code 3 or the letters “PVC” on products. And some, but not all, plastics marked with recycling codes 3 or 7 may be made with BPA.

❗Phthalates can be tricky because companies are not legally required to list individual ingredients on consumer product labels.

♻️🌳💚Every product offered in OAT Baby Club has been tested and is free of Polyvinyl chloride aka ‘Plastic Poison’ aka ‘PVC’, of BPA, and Phthalates.
